REFRIGERATOR YEAST ROLLS 
2 c. milk (buttermilk or sweet)
3 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 pkg. yeast in 1/2 c. water (not hot)
5 c. flour (self-rising)
2/3 c. melted shortening (not hot)

Put 2 cups milk with sugar and baking soda. Add yeast and water; after it is dissolved, add flour. Before flour is all wet, pour shortening in, and mix well. Put in refrigerator - cover bowl. Take out as much as you need. Roll into balls, and place in greased baking pan. Bake in 350 degree oven until done.
