POTATO MUSAKKA 
1 lb. ground beef or lamb
1 onion, chopped fine
4 med. potatoes
1/2 c. tomato sauce
Salt & pepper to taste
1 tbsp. butter

Peel, slice, parboil potatoes. Brown meat in 1 tablespoon butter. Add onion, tomato sauce, salt and pepper; cook until hot. Arrange half of potatoes in bottom of pyrex pie plate. Spread meat mixture over it, then add rest of potatoes to cover.

SAUCE:

1 egg or 2 yolks
2 1/2 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 c. milk

Make a sauce of butter, flour, milk and egg yolks. Pour over potatoes and bake at 350 degrees until crust is browned. Serves 4-6.
