TIROPITA (CHEESE PIE) 
1 c. melted butter
30 sheets of Filo (recipe in miscellaneous)
4 eggs
1/2 lb. feta cheese grated
1 lb. cottage cheese
2 tbsp. milk
Salt

Brush a baking pan (8 x 8) with butter. Lay 10 sheets of Filo on bottom of pan, brushing each sheet with melted butter. Beat eggs, add cheeses and beat well. Add 2 tablespoon of melted butter and the milk. Add salt if needed. Spread half of mixture over Filo sheets, top with 10 more Filo sheets, brushing with butter, add cheese mixture, 10 more Filo sheets and brush with butter. Trim any excess pastry from edge. Bake in 350 degree oven 1 1/4 hours. Cut in squares and serve warm. Makes 4 to 6 servings. Feta Cheese: This is a soft, white cheese made of goat's milk. It is similar in taste to cottage or ricotta cheese.
