FROSTED PEANUT BUTTER BARS 
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/3 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. milk

Frosting:

2/3 c. creamy peanut butter
1/2 c. shortening
4 c. powdered sugar
1/3 to 1/2 c. milk

Topping:

1/4 c. chocolate chips
1 tbsp. shortening

Cream peanut butter, shortening and brown sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Combine flour, baking powder and salt; add gradually to creamed mixture. Add milk and mix well. Put in greased 15 x 10 baking pan.

Bake at 350°F for 16 to 20 minutes (toothpick in center clean). Cool.

Frosting: Cream peanut butter, shortening and powdered sugar. Gradually beat in milk to spreading consistency. Frost bars.

Melt chocolate chips and shortening, stirring until smooth. Drizzle over frosting. Refrigerate.
