FRUIT DESSERT 
1 c. butter
1 3/4 c. sugar
4 eggs
3 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1 can pie filling

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time. Add flour, baking powder and vanilla. Put 2/3 of batter on greased 9x13 inch cake pan. Top with 1 can pie filling - blueberry, apple, cherry or peach. Dot with remaining batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Frost with thin powdered sugar frosting.
