SPICED PECANS 
2 c. pecans
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cloves
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. water

Combine sugar, salt and spices; add water and cook until a soft ball forms in cold water. Remove from fire; add nuts. Stir until sugary. Separate pecans after pouring out on a cookie sheet. Do not grease.
