MERINGUE SURPRISES 
2 egg whites
1 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Combine egg whites, vanilla and salt; beat until stiff but not dry. Gradually beat in sugar until stiff and satiny. Fold in chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoons on a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 300 degrees for 30 minutes. Do NOT make on a very wet or humid day.
