FLADEN SOUP 
1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 qt. hot broth
1 egg
1/4 c. milk

Mix flour and milk together until smooth. Beat egg. Add to flour and milk mixture. Add salt. Lightly oil skillet, heat on medium heat. Pour 3 tablespoons batter into skillet. Cook on low heat until brown on both sides. Continue making pancakes in like manner until all batter is used. Put pancakes in soup bowl and top with hot broth. Allow 1/4 of the pancakes and one cup broth per serving. Serves 4.
