SHERRY TRIFLE 
Pound cake, jelly roll, etc.
1 box (lg.) raspberry Jello
1/2 c. or less sherry or port (to taste)
1 lg. box vanilla pudding
Canned peaches or pears
Whipped cream (and nuts)

Line bowl with sliced cake or jelly roll. Sprinkle with sherry until moist. Add layer of firm (made according to package directions) chopped Jello. Add layer of pudding, use directions on box. Alternate layers of Jello, pudding and fruit. Last layer should be pudding. Top with whipped cream and sprinkle with nuts, if desired.

Variation: Bananas can be added also or any other fruit.
