FRENCH CANADIAN MEAT PIE 
1 lb. ground beef
2 lbs. ground pork
1 clove garlic or garlic salt
2 1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning
2 tbsp. salt
1 tsp. celery salt
1 tsp. pepper
1 c. water
Onion
6 med. potatoes, cooked and mashed
1/2 tsp. ground sage

Combine pork, beef, onions and garlic in large skillet. Cook, stirring often until meat leaves pink color. Stir in poultry seasoning, salt, celery salt, pepper, sage and water. Simmer 20 minutes covered and 10 minutes uncovered. Remove from heat, stir in mashed potatoes and cool. Put in pie shells and cover with top crusts. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes, then 300 degrees for 25 minutes. Makes 2 (9-inch) pies.
