1 c. butter
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. sifted flour
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. sugar

Mix thoroughly. Roll thin and cut into shapes.

Bake on greased baking sheet at 350°F to 375°F for about 8 minutes.
