SWEDISH COFFEE BREAD 
1 1/2 c. milk
2/3 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. cardamom
4 c. flour
8 tbsp. butter (1 cube)
1 tsp. salt
2 pkgs. yeast
2 eggs

In a pan, heat milk, butter, sugar, and salt. In a bowl, mix flour, yeast, and cardamom. Add the liquid ingredients into the flour mixture with the eggs. Beat for 3 minutes at high speed. Add flour and knead 5 to 8 minutes. Let rise 1 1/4 hours. Punch down and let rest for 10 minutes. Divide dough into half, divide each ball into 3 parts. Braid. Let rise 40 minutes. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Brush with milk and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
