QUICK HOMEMADE CHILI | |
1 lb. lean ground beef 1 clove garlic, minced 1/2 c. chopped onion 1/2 c. chopped green pepper 1 915 1/2 oz.) can light red beans, not drained 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce 1 tsp. salt 2 tsp. chili powder Brown beef and garlic until meat loses its red color. Pour off excess fat. Add onion, green pepper, beans, tomato sauce, salt and chili powder. Simmer, stirring occasionally, until chili is desired thickness, about 30 minutes. |
