QUICK HOMEMADE CHILI | |
2 tbsp. oil 1 clove garlic, minced 1 lb. ground meat 2 (15 oz.) cans red kidney beans, undrained 1/2 c. chopped onion 1/2 c. chopped green pepper 1 (16 oz) can tomato sauce 1 tsp. salt 1 1/2 tsp. chili powder Cook onion and green pepper slightly in the oil. Add ground beef and cook until meat loses its red color. Add beans, tomato sauce, salt, chili powder. Simmer over low heat, stirring occasionally, about 20 minutes. Yield: 6 servings. |
