1 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. peanut butter

Cream shortening, peanut butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla and beat well. Add dry ingredients. Roll into balls, dip in sugar and flatten with a fork dipped in flour.

Bake on ungreased baking sheet at 375°F for 10-12 minutes.
