COUNTRY SWEET POTATOES | |
1 lg. can sweet potatoes 1/4 c. milk 2 tbsp. brown sugar or maple syrup 3 tbsp. butter 1/8 tsp. salt 1/3 c. pecans, chopped Miniature marshmallows Drain syrup from potatoes. Mash potatoes. Add milk, sugar, butter and salt and mix well. Fold in nuts. Put in a shallow greased baking dish. Top with marshmallows. Heat at 375 degrees for 15 minutes in oven or until marshmallows brown on top. Serves 10 to 12. |
