HAM AND NOODLE CASSEROLE | |
12 oz package frozen noodles 1 pound cooked ham diced 8 oz can mushroom stems and pieces 1 can mushroom soup 1/2 pound shredded cheddar cheese 3 oz crushed potato chips 4 tbsp. butter 2 cups milk 4 tbsp. flour Cook noodles in boiling water until done. Melt butter in a medium sauce pan. Add the four and stir until smooth. Add milk and cook until thickened. Combine this white sauce with mushroom soup. Pour over noodles, ham and mushrooms. Mix thoroughly. Pour into a 9 x 13 pan. Top with shredded cheese and crushed chips. Cover with foil and bake in oven for 40 minutes at 325. Take foil off and put back in oven for 5 minutes. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving. |
