POTATO SALAD HOT OR COLD 
5 med., boiled in skins potatoes, sliced. Add while warm to sauce
5 cut up strips of bacon
1 lg. onion, chopped
1/2 green pepper, chopped
2 tbsp. flour
1 c. water
1/3 c. vinegar
2 heaping tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. paprika

In large fry pan, crisp the bacon. Add onion and green pepper, saute. Sprinkle flour over and add water and vinegar gradually as you stir. Add celery, salt, pepper and paprika. Add other spices to your taste. Should be cream sauce consistency. Add warm potatoes. Hard boiled eggs if desired. To stir, lift over with spatula. Sprinkle chopped parsley on top. Serve with Bratwurst.
