TOLL HOUSE MUD BARS 
1 3/4 c. sifted flour
3/4 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt
1 c. packed brown sugar
3/4 c. butter, softened
3/4 c. chopped nuts
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 egg white
24 oz. pkg. Nestle's semi-sweet chocolate chips, divided

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine flour, soda, salt; set aside. Beat brown sugar, butter and vanilla till creamy. Add eggs; beat well. Gradually add flour mixture. Stir in 12 oz. (half bag) of chips and nuts. Spread in foil lined 13 x 9 inch pan. Bake 23 to 25 minutes. Immediately sprinkle rest of chips over top and return to oven for 1 to 2 minutes till chips are shiny. Remove from oven, spread chocolate evenly. When cool, chill 5 to 10 minutes to set chocolate. Remove foil. Cut into 2 x 1 inch bars.
