LASAGNE 
1 lb. ground beef
8 oz. pkg. lasagna noodles
1 lg. can tomatoes, chopped
1 med. onion, chopped
1/8 tsp. red pepper
2 tsp. oregano
2 tsp. salt
8 oz. pkg. shredded mozzarella cheese
6 oz. tomato sauce
2 cloves garlic
1 tsp. sugar
6 oz. tomato paste
1 sm. carton cottage cheese
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese

To mix meat sauce, saute onion, garlic, and hamburger. Add tomatoes, tomato paste, red pepper, salt, sugar, oregano. Simmer for 2 hours. Boil noodles according to package directions and drain. In large greased baking dish, place alternate layers of noodles, meat sauce and mixture of cottage cheese, tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes. Serves 8.
