CHICKEN RICE BAKE | |
1 c. dry rice 1 pkg. onion soup 1 can of cream of mushroom soup 2 lbs. cut up chicken 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese (sharp) 1/2 c. cracker crumbs 1-2 tbsp. butter Butter one glass baking dish. Add one cup dry rice. Sprinkle with one package onion soup mix. Mix one can cream of mushroom soup with one can water. Pour soup mixture over rice and dry soup. Add one to two pounds cut up chicken parts, one cup grated Cheddar cheese (sharp) and 1/2 cup cracker crumbs. Top with a little melted butter (1-2 tablespoons). Bake for 3 hours at 300 degrees, keeping covered with lid or foil. |
