MOM'S LIGHT GOLDEN CAKE 
4 eggs
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 stick butter
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat eggs until light and fluffy. Continue beating while adding sugar slowly. Sift dry ingredients and add to egg mixture. Melt butter in milk and heat thoroughly. Then slowly add to mixture and blend. Add vanilla to mixture.

Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13 inch pan and bake at 350 degrees about 45 minutes. Can also be done as 2 layers or tube cake.
