SOUR CREAM SOFTIES 
3 c. sifted reg. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. (1 stick) butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. (8 oz.) sour cream
Cinnamon-sugar

1. Measure flour, salt, baking powder and soda into a sifter.

2. Cream butter with sugar until well blended in a large bowl. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Sift in flour mixture, adding alternately with sour cream. Blend well to make a thick batter.

3. Drop by rounded tablespoons 4 inches apart on greased cookie sheet; spread into 2 inch rounds; sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar.

4. Bake in 400 degree oven 12 minutes or until lightly golden around edges. Remove from cookie sheets; cool completely on wire racks.
