WHITE FRUIT CAKE 
3 c. sugar
1/2 lb. butter
6 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. milk
4 c. flour, sifted with 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
4 rings candied pineapple
2 boxes candied cherries
1 lb. white raisins
1/2 lb. nut meats
2 cans coconut
1/2 c. orange marmalade

Cream the butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Alternate milk and flour. Add fruit and other ingredients. Line pan with heavy brown paper or foil. Put pan of water in bottom of oven. Bake in 2 pans for 1 3/4 hours at 300 degrees.
