FILLED CAKE SQUARES 
1 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
4 eggs, add 1 at a time
2 c. flour
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 can cherry pie filling

Cream butter alone for a few minutes. Add sugar and cream together 20 minutes. Add eggs (one at a time), flour and lemon juice. Mix well. Pour into well greased and floured 15 x 10 x 1 inch jelly roll pan. Score into 24 squares. Add about 3 cherries to the center of each square. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. While hot, powder sugar.
