SPAGHETTI WITH CLAM SAUCE 
2 cans (7 1/2 oz. size) minced clams
1/4 c. olive or salad oil
1/4 c. (1/2 stick) butter
2 or 3 garlic cloves, crushed
1 tbsp. chopped parsley
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 pkg. (8 oz.) spaghetti, cooked
Grated Parmesan cheese

1. Drain clams, reserving 3/4 cup liquid. Set aside.

2. In skillet, slowly heat oil and butter. Add garlic and saute until golden. Remove from heat.

3. Stir in clam liquid, parsley and salt; bring to boiling. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes.

4. Add clams; simmer 3 minutes.

5. Serve hot over spaghetti with Parmesan cheese. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
