HOMEMADE WAFFLES 
2 c. flour
3 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
3 tsp. baking powder
2 eggs, separated
1 3/4 c. milk
4 tbsp. butter, melted

Sift dry ingredients together into bowl. Add egg yolks and milk beating slowly until batter is smooth. Add melted butter and fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Pour into waffle iron and bake as usual.
