HONEY SALAD DRESSING 
To be used with green salads of all kinds, and as a cold sauce with cold chicken.

10 oz. mayonnaise
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1/4 c. honey
1 sm. finely chopped onion
Pinch of finely chopped parsley
1/2 lemon (juice only)
Pinch of salt
2 drops Tabasco sauce
6 mushrooms, sliced fine
2 tomatoes, cut in wedges
2 tbsp. chives, chopped fine
1 c. sm. shrimp boiled with bay leaves, lemon juice, and salt
Lettuce

Romaine, Escarole, Chicory, watercress, all cut into 1-inch pieces for a total of 6 cups.

Mix all ingredients listed in a large wooden bowl. The dressing can be used up to 7 days if kept in a glass container and refrigerated.
