TEXAS SOUP 
2 lb. ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 can pinto beans
1 can kidney or Ranch-style beans
1 can corn or hominy
1 small can green chilies, chopped
1 1/2 c. water
1 large can stewed tomatoes, pureed in blender or chopped
1 envelope taco seasoning
1 envelope Ranch dressing mix

Brown ground beef with onion. Put all in a large pot (do not drain vegetables) and add taco seasoning and Ranch dressing mix. Stir together and heat at least 30 minutes.

I substituted Italian sausage instead of hamburger. I used dark kidney beans, navy beans and hominy and spicy rotel tomatoes to heat it up.
