1 box Duncan Hines chocolate cake mix 1 lg. Cool Whip 1 can red pie cherries Bake cake in 3 layers at 350 degrees as per directions. Let cool for some time. Ice cake layer: Cover with Cool Whip, then put on cherries. Second layer: Repeat. Third layer: Ice and put leftover cherries in middle. Ice all over with Cool Whip. If desired, add red cherries from the bottle. Be sure to drain well. (Lay them on a paper napkin to dry.) Keep in refrigerator. | |
