DRIED BEEF CASSEROLE 
1 (8 oz.) pkg. noodles
12 oz. dried beef
1 can cheddar cheese soup
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 c. milk
1 med. onion
1/2 c. soft stale bread crumbs or cracker crumbs
4 tbsp. butter

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cook noodles with salt as directed on the package and drain. Chop onion. Melt butter in a skillet and remove 2 tablespoons, reserve for topping. Fry onion in remaining butter. Chop dried beef and add to butter-onion mixture. Add soup, milk and noodles. Mix gently. Pour into buttered baking dish.

Mix crumbs and melted butter in a bowl. Sprinkle on top of casserole. Bake for 1 hour. Crumbs should turn brown.
