1 c. sugar
2 c. flour
3 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. oil
1 c. Coke (not Pepsi)

Mix by hand. Do not use mixer, it changes the texture of the cake.

Add: 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 c. buttermilk or sour milk 1 tsp. vanilla

Add:

Mix and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes in a 13"x9" pan.

TOPPING:

1/2 c. butter
3 tbsp. cocoa
1 lb. confectioners' sugar
6 tbsp. Coke
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts

Mix well and frost cooled cake.
