DUTCH APPLE DESSERT | |
1/4 c.butter 1 1/2 c. graham cracker crumbs 1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk 1 c. sour cream 1/4 c. lemon juice 1 c. Comstock apple pie filling 1/4 c. walnuts 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon Double recipe for 14"x9" pan. Melt butter in baking dish or pan in oven. Sprinkle in crumbs and stir well and press on bottom of pan. Mix together sweetened condensed milk, sour cream and lemon juice. Spread evenly over 1st layer. Spoon pie filling over 2nd layer. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until set. Cool slightly. In small dish mix nuts and cinnamon, sprinkle over pie filling. Serve warm or cold with Cool Whip or whip cream. Variations: Omit cinnamon and use any kind of pie filling. |
