DON'S CHILI SUPPER 
3/4 lb. pinto beans
2 lbs. good ground meat
1 onion, chopped
1 can tomato puree
1/2 bottle chili powder
2 tsp. cumin
Salt
Pepper
Cayenne

Wash beans and soak overnight. Next morning, put on to cook with enough water to cover 1 inch. When tender add meat which has been cooked until red is out. Add tomato puree, chopped onion and seasonings. Cook a long time over low heat stirring often (2 to 3 hours).

TO SERVE: Put plain doritos in plate. Cover with chili mixture. Sprinkle with grated Cheddar cheese and chopped onion. Top with shredded lettuce. Serve immediately with extra Doritos or crackers.
