MISSISSIPPI LEMON CHESS PIE | |
2 c. sugar 1 tbsp. all purpose flour 1 tbsp. cornmeal 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 c. melted butter 1/4 c. lemon juice Grated rind of 2 lemons 1/4 c. milk 4 eggs 1 unbaked 9 inch pie shell Combine sugar, flour, cornmeal and salt. Add butter, lemon juice, lemon rind and milk; mix well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Pour into pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes. Yield: one 9 inch pie. |
