HICKORY NUT PUDDING 
1 egg
2 tbsp. butter
1 c. milk
1 c. raisins, soaked in boiling water 30 minutes
1 c. sugar
1 c. hickory nuts
4 tbsp. cream
1 c. bread crumbs

Bake in oven at 350 degrees and top with sauce.

SAUCE:

1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. butter

Add enough cream to make paste; add 1 cup boiling water. Boil 5 minutes.
