LOW FAT JELLY COOKIE 
1 pkg. cake mix (yellow or lemon)
1/2 c. applesauce
1 1/2 egg beaters
1 tsp. lemon rind (if yellow cake is used)

Combine all ingredients and drop from teaspoon on lightly greased cookie sheet. Depress center of cookie and put a dab of jelly or preserves in center. Bake at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool a few seconds and lift gently from pan with a spatula.

Actually I have a question - how much egg beaters is supposed to be used? It states 1 1/2 egg beaters above? 1 1/2 what? Cups? Thumbprint style cookies are my fav so I'd really love to try a low-cal recipe but need to know exactly how much egg beaters to use for this recipe. Thanks so much for any assistance.
