1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
4 eggs, one at a time
1 can Hershey's syrup or 16 oz. chocolate syrup mix
1 c. flour
Nuts (optional)

Mix all together and pour into a large greased jelly roll pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.

FROSTING:

1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
6 tbsp. butter
6 tbsp. milk

Bring to a full boil, then add 1/2 cups of chocolate chips and beat until smooth. Pour over brownies while warm. This makes a large quantity of brownies.

I use 1/2 this recipe for 1 batch of brownies and whole recipe for 2 cookie sheets. (Double batch.)
