REUBEN CASSEROLE | |
6 oz. med. size noodles 2 tbsp. butter 1 lb. can sauerkraut 1 (12 oz.) can corned beef, shredded 1/2 c. mayonnaise 1 tbsp. ketchup 2 tbsp. dill pickles (chopped) 2 tsp. grated onion 2 tomatoes (sliced) 2 c. Swiss cheese (shredded) 1 c. rye crackers (crushed) 2 tbsp. melted butter Caraway seeds Toss cooked noodles with 2 tablespoons butter. Place in 9 x 13" dish. Top with sauerkraut and 1/2 of drained juice. Top with corned beef. Mix together mayonnaise, pickles, ketchup and onion. Spread over top of corned beef. Top with tomatoes, then cheese. Mix crackers a few caraway seeds and melted butter. Sprinkle over top of cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. |
