CHOCO-CHERRY BAR 
1/2 c. butter
3 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 eggs
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/3 c. finely chopped maraschino cherries
1 tsp. vanilla

Melt butter in saucepan. Blend in cocoa, sugar and baking powder. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in remaining ingredients. Mix well. Spread in greased 8 inch square pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. Frost with Chocolate Cherry Frosting.

CHOCOLATE CHERRY FROSTING:

1 tbsp. melted butter
1 c. sifted powdered sugar
2 tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla

Stir in 1 to 2 tablespoons cherry juice and add 2 tablespoons chopped maraschino cherries. Mix well. Frost bars while still warm. Cut at once.
