MEXICAN CORN BREAD 
1 c. yellow corn meal
3/4 c. milk
1/2 c. bacon drippings
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 Jalapeno peppers
2 eggs
1 (8 oz.) can creamed corn
1/2 lb. ground meat
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese

Beat eggs, add corn meal, milk, creamed corn, bacon drippings, salt and soda. Mix in browned ground meat, chopped onion, chopped peppers. Bake in 9 x 13 inch pan at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes. Can layer instead of mixing together.
