VEGETABLE MEDLEY - MICROWAVE 
1 head cauliflower
1 bunch broccoli, 1 1/4 - 1 1/2 lbs., cut in spears
3-4 carrots, diagonally sliced 1/4"
1/2 c. melted butter
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

On 15" round glass or ceramic dish place head of cauliflower in center. Arrange broccoli and carrots around the outside.

Pour butter over vegetables. Sprinkle with garlic salt and pepper. Cover with plastic wrap turning back one edge to vent. Microwave on High for 17 to 19 minutes. Let stand, covered, 5 minutes. Vegetables should be crisp but tender. Serves 6 to 8.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
