SAND TARTS 
1 c. butter
1 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla
5 tbsp. powdered sugar
2 c. flour

Cream butter and sugar; add flour and nuts; add vanilla. Shape with hands into small pomes. Bake in oven at 325 degrees for about 25 minutes or until light brown. Roll in powdered sugar while warm.
