PIZZA CASSEROLE | |
2 lbs. ground beef 1 lg. onion 1 garlic clove or 1 tsp. garlic powder 1 bell pepper Salt and pepper to taste 2 (14 oz.) jars pizza sauce Pepperoni (optional) Brown ground beef, onions, garlic, and bell pepper. Drain. Add seasonings and pizza sauce. Cook 16 ounces of macaroni (elbow or seashell macaroni may be used). Pour 1/2 of meat mixture in 13 x 9 inch casserole dish. Top with slices of Mozzarella cheese. Pour cooked macaroni over meat and cheese. Add remaining portion of meat sauce and top with more cheese. Top with pepperoni, if desired. Bake in 350 degree oven for 20 minutes. |
