SHRIMP CURRY 
9 c. water
3 lb. cleaned deveined shrimp
1/4 c. butter
2 tsp. curry powder
1/2 c. finely chopped celery
1/2 c. chopped green bell peppers
2 1/2 c. whipping cream
Hot rice
1/4 c. chopped fresh parsley
1/4 c. plus 1 tbsp. flour or cornstarch
3/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
Pepper to taste
1/2 c. finely chopped apples, optional
1/4 c. chopped pimento

Boil cleaned and deveined shrimp for 5 minutes, drain and set aside. Melt butter in heavy saucepan over low heat. Stir in curry powder. Add celery, green peppers, pimento and parsley. Cook 2 minutes over medium high heat, stirring occasionally. Add flour, salt and garlic powder; stir until smooth.

Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Add shrimp. Reduce to medium heat gradually add whipping cream, stirring until thick and bubbly. If too thick add a little water. Serve on hot rice.
