SIZZLING BEANS AND BACON 
2/3 c. chopped onion
1/2 lb. bacon, cut into 1/2 inch strips
1/2 lb. ground beef
3 (16 oz.) cans pinto or pink beans
2/3 c. ketchup
3 tbsp. French's Classic Yellow mustard
1 tbsp. vinegar
1/2 c. firmly packed light or dark brown sugar
1 tsp. salt

In 3-quart microwavable casserole stir onion and bacon. Cover with paper towel. Microwave on High for 4 minutes or until onion is tender, stirring once. Add ground beef, breaking up with fork. Microwave on High for 5 minutes or until beef is no longer pink, stirring once. Drain off fat. Stir in beans, ketchup, mustard, vinegar, brown sugar and salt until well combined. Microwave on High, uncovered, for 15 minutes or until hot and bubbling, stirring twice. Makes 8 servings.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
