PEANUT BUTTER CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES | |
2 c. all-purpose flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1 c. chunky peanut butter 3/4 c. butter, room temperature 3/4 c. granulated sugar 3/4 c. packed light brown sugar 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring 2 lg. eggs 12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips (2 c.) Heat oven to 375 degrees. Mix flour and baking soda. Beat peanut butter, butter, sugars and vanilla with electric mixer until fluffy. Beat in eggs. With mixer on low speed gradually beat in flour. Mix just until blended. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool on cookie sheet 1 minute before removing to rack to cool completely. Store tightly covered. Makes 100. |
