CHICKEN AND RICE CASSEROLE 
2 1/2 to 3 lb. fryer, cut in pieces
3 strips bacon
1 c. raw rice
1 can cream of mushroom soup
2 1/2 cans milk (soup cans)

Place bacon on bottom of casserole; add rice. Place chicken on rice and salt and pepper to taste. Cover with cream of mushroom soup and milk. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
