1 box angel food cake mix
1 tbsp. powdered instant coffee

Prepare mix according to package directions; add instant coffee to cake flour mixture before adding egg whites. Bake as directed.

FROSTING:

1/2 c. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
3-4 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. sifted confectioners' sugar
2 tsp. instant coffee

Cream butter. Add salt and sugar. Gradually add milk and sugar and flavoring. Beat until light and fluffy. Add instant coffee; mix well. Frost cake. Sprinkle cake with 1 1/2 cups sliced almonds.
