1 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg yolk
1 tbsp. grated orange peel
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour

Beat together butter, sugar, egg yolks, orange peel and vanilla until fluffy. Add flour until blended. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease baking sheets.

Wrap 1 1/2 teaspoon dough around a pecan half, drained maraschino cherry, candied cherry. Place 1 inch apart on sheets. Bake approximately 12 minutes. Frost tops of cooled cookies.

Yield approximately 60 cookies.
